Our Story

RPC Group of Companies is a global leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of glass reinforced composite (GRP) solutions. In addition, RPC manages the sustainment of ferrous and nonferrous Defence capability and specialist jobbing programmes.

RPC has a distinguished 40-year heritage – dating back to the Transfield Construction Group – delivering innovative engineering solutions to the infrastructure, water and wastewater, environment, transport, mining, architecture and defence sectors.

The company employs 500 staff, including more than 30 engineers, across five custom facilities in Sydney (Head Office), Adelaide, Geelong, Newcastle and Batam Island, Indonesia. In all, more than 35,000 square metres of manufacturing capacity is available to service project needs.

In support of fostering excellence, innovation and collaboration, RPC has established a Centre for Engineering Excellence in our Newcastle plant. RPC is actively involved in mentoring and training young Australians with the aim of building professionals who make world-class excellence and innovation a part of their everyday work ethic.
