23 Dec A Christmas message to our Customers and Suppliers from Tony Caristo
To our customers and suppliers – a message from Tony Caristo, Managing Director
Dear friends,
We have approached the end of what can only be described as one of the strangest and most challenging years we have all experienced due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I want to thank each one of you for your continued support as we have all worked together to navigate these complex times.
As I write to you today, those of us in NSW are facing a spike in positive cases and an uncertain landscape regarding Christmas and holiday arrangements. These unfolding events again challenge us to keep calm and stay positive. Hopefully the cluster is contained and the majority of celebrations can go ahead albeit with some restrictions. The news that a vaccine is not far away is heartening so we can look forward to a more certain 2021.
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for a strong domestic manufacturing sector. Looking forward, I hope the Federal Government walks-the-talk in regard to increasing Sovereign Capability as there is so much latent potential and capability waiting to be leveraged if the will is there. Our industries need to keep lobbying to increase the Australian share of the many significant contracts being awarded in Infrastructure and Defence. In the meantime, I ask that you all do your part in supporting local manufacturing.
I believe 2021 will present many opportunities across our business and in the regions where we operate. One such opportunity will see RPC embark on a new service to be called RPC Asset Services. This service will focus on GRP/FRP asset testing, repairs, maintenance and replacement. This is an exciting development for RPC and we are looking forward to providing our customers with our deep experience in the Composite industry combined with some new state-of-the-art non-destructive testing capability. We will be sharing more news with you about this service as we roll it out in the New Year.
But for now, I think we are all looking forward to a much-needed break with our families and friends over the holiday period.
Thank-you again for your business, support and friendship. I wish you all Season’s Greetings and a very happy new year filled with success, happiness and most importantly, good health and look forward to working with you in 2021.
Best regards,
Tony Caristo
Managing Director
