RPC Technologies has been awarded the prestigious 2019 SAP Best Run Award for Australia & NZ in the category of Data & Analytics at SAP’s annual industry awards event at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art. Six months ago, RPC partnered with Deloitte to embark on an ambitious transformation program to consolidate a number of business systems into a single cloud based platform.
The SAP S4 Hana Cloud solution was implemented across our six subsidiaries in five countries enabling us to strengthen our position as a leading innovator in the design and delivery of advanced composite products and engineering capabilities.
The solution will facilitate our vertically aligned business to deliver projects on time and on budget, with the overlay of SAP Analytics Cloud to access real time data from our digital core of transactions. These insights will enable our teams to be agile in decision making with on-hand review of budget-to-actual, and to forecast our diverse range of projects to meet and exceed customer outcomes.
RPC’s ERP Program Manager, Alexandra Thorogood accepted the award in partnership with Todd Slatter, Director at Deloitte. “This award is an important recognition of how RPC is innovating to deliver better outcomes for our customers, employees and shareholders. The implementation of the SAP S4 Hana Cloud Program including SAP Sales Cloud (CRM), SAP Success Factors and SAP Analytics Cloud in a short time frame with Deloitte’s will have solid outcomes for our capacity to get the job done and create business growth in the future,” said Alexandra.
Tony Caristo said the move to SAP was a key step in ensuring RPC was ready for Industry 4.0. “The core implementation has been completed seamlessly and in record time which was critical as the organisation is currently manufacturing, delivering and installing many complex projects across the Water, Rail and Defence sectors, in Australia, NZ, SEA and in the future, India. We can’t afford downtime and Alexandra and her team, and our Deloitte partners, deserve this important industry recognition for a finely executed project.”
