16 Sep GLAM Visits RPC
Recently, RPC welcomed students participating in the Geelong Manufacturing Council‘s GLAM (Girls Leading Advanced Manufacturing) program for a factory tour, providing an opportunity to explore career pathways in engineering, science, technology and advanced manufacturing.
We welcomed students from Years 9 to 11 across the Geelong region, who showed great enthusiasm for manufacturing careers, trades and emerging opportunities in technology, design and engineering.
The tour provided first-hand insight into a modern manufacturing environment and highlighted the important role advanced manufacturing plays in driving innovation and creating rewarding career opportunities in the region.
RPC is proud of its long-standing partnerships with the Geelong Manufacturing Council and The Gordon TAFE, supporting initiatives that connect students with real-world industry experiences and career pathways.
A special thank you to the Corio team for making the visit a success, particularly Jose Magtaka, our Corio Workshop Manager and Lorraine Kulic our Lead Office Administrator, for their outstanding hospitality and informative tour.
It was fantastic to see such strong engagement from the students and to showcase the innovation, technology and career opportunities that make advanced manufacturing such a dynamic industry.
