In 2019 RPC designed, manufactured and delivered two DN3200 and two DN4000 GRP PermaManhole liners for Yarra Valley Water’s Epping main sewer upgrade project. The manholes were 38m to 40m deep and were manufactured in three and four sections to be joined on site using RPC’s recommended installation methodology. One of the manholes, located adjacent to the Calder Freeway also contained a vortex structure and internal drop pipe. JHG’s decision to engage RPC followed on from other successful projects for them including Amaroo Sewer Main Project (for Yarra Valley Water) and Melbourne Water Projects – Carlton Sewer Upgrade and Princes St Sewer Manhole upgrade. RPC delivered the scope on-time and it was successfully installed on site by the client.
