GAJV Central Interceptor Project – May Road RPC shaft liner segments are assembled and installed – 18.8.2023

Earlier this week, as part of the #GAJV Central Interceptor project in Auckland, for their customer #WatercareNZ, RPC installed an assembled module consisting of #GRP Cascade Shaft Liner segments 2B, 3A and 3B for the May Road precinct. The lift weight of the connected shaft segments was more than 50 tonnes.
There are a total of 23 x 7.5m Diameter segments for May Road with the overall length of the shaft being approximately 70m, one of deepest shafts ever to be sunk and lined in the Southern Hemisphere! The next shipment of segments is due to arrive from RPC’s Batam facility this weekend. Congratulations to the RPC Infrastructure teams – operations, engineering and onsite, who continue to successfully deliver this large and complex project for the Cascade Shaft liners. www.rpctechnologies.com #wastewater #water #newzealand #trustedpartner #engineeringexcellence
